There was over 160+ people that came to Enon Baptist Church in the Dry Valley community yesterday to take shelter from the storms. We thank all the members of DVFD that came out to help at the Church and those that responded to check several residents on Hwy 25 between Montevallo and Calera,where there was an EF1 tornado that came through that area.DVFD would also like to thank Enon Baptist church for letting DVFD the use of the church for a shelter and a huge thanks to all the people in the shelter that stayed after the all clear to help clean up and direct traffic for everyone trying to return to there homes.We have a great and caring community and DVFD is proud to serve the community of Dry Valley.
