Our Troop stresses basic Scouting skills, merit badge work, community service, teamwork, leadership, advancement, and most of all, FUN! It includes summer camp at one of the premiere Scout Camps on the West Coast, Camp Pico Blanco, located on the Little Sur River, thirty miles southeast of Monterey in the midst of a deep redwood forest in the Ventana Wilderness. Through the direct and sustained ef

forts of our Scouts, the Troop has won the Quality Unit Award and the National Camping Award for the past eighteen years, and averages a 100%+ advancement rate. We are fortunate that our Adult Scout Leaders, often referred to as “Scouters,” have a wide variety of backgrounds, interests, and expertise. This directly compliments our program, as we are able to channel these qualities and attributes directly into hands-on instruction and practical events.
