****TRAIL CONDITION ANNOUNCEMENT****

Get your riding in while you still can folks!! Due to the warmer weather and trail base condition assessments by some of our members, we will be closing the trails at midnight tonight!!

We are super thankful to have been able to keep the system open longer so far this year then we have seen in a few seasons. Keep sending all the good vibes to father winter folks so we can MAKE WINTER GREAT AGAIN right here in our own backyard! We would love to be able to have another good couple of cold stretches that bless us with MORE snow before the break of winter!! πŸ€žβ„οΈβ„οΈβ„οΈβ„οΈ

Reminder: Club meeting this Thursday starting at 6:30pm. Club Meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Thurday of each month. If your ever curious on how you can get involved in the club, or just interested on upcoming events and planned trail work, stop on by to Matt's Place LLC for one of our meetings!

Thank you and have a great rest of your weekend!

Happy Monday Tamers!

****TRAIL CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT****

There has been a slight change on how we cross Switzer Hill Road (**C2**)!

Due to land owners request for snowmobiles to please stay off their property, we have put up some caution tape and stop signs to divert riders. Please follow signage and stay on road at telephone pole and KEEP OFF the private property!!

PLEASE for the love of Pete, respect ALL of our neighbors and land owners in our community. Receiving permission to have portions of our trails that crossover private property is a privlage NOT a right. Each closure no matter the size has a huge impact on us guys and gals. By disregarding signage and riding where you are not supposed to be riding you are TRESPASSING, it really truly hurts us all not just yourself.

****In New York, operating a snowmobile on private property without the landowner's permission is illegal, prohibited by law, and can result in fines and 3–30 days in jail. Operators must have permission REGUARDLESS of whether the land is posted. Violators must identify themselves and leave immediately if requested by the landowner. Respect ALL "No Trespassing" signs and ensure you have permission to avoid fines and potential legal consequences.****

Let's keep working together to keep this sport alive in our area! It truly is up to each and every one of us to teach and be positive role models for proper trail etiquette and respect to our younger generations and those of us that just don't quite understand WHY it matters.

Special thank you to our club president Minard Lafever for taking the time to set up tape and signage for this land owner to divert riders, and help prevent future trespassing!!

Have a great rest of your day folks! Stay safe, ride RIGHT, and again PLEASE respect the trails and all landowners! 🀘

Happy Sunday-Funday Tamers!

Yesterday's 2026 event was an absolutely amazing turn out, and we all wanted to make sure we took the time to thank each and everyone of you who stopped by to support some local businesses Matt's Place LLC and The Range @ Steuben Sporting Goods.

Special thanks to The Range Steuben Sporting Goods for always having amazing inventory to support our events, and hanging with us to do some fun stuff during the event with us!!

We also wanted to thank our community for supporting your local club. With out having a supportive community these events wouldn't be at all possible!

HUGE special thanks to our active members who volunteered their time to make all the beautiful baskets for the raffles, set up for the event, and work the event. You guys are all super-duper amazing folks and we ESPECIALLY wouldn't be able to have these events with out all of your hard work and love for the club! Thank you Matt and family 's Place LLC for letting us host our event at your place and being our club house, we appreciate everything you and your family do for us!

For anyone who has ever been curious about joining a club, being an active member and what they can do to help with events/trail maintenance, OR have any questions regarding anything club related, NYSSA related or trail related, we would love to have you stop by for a meeting to see what we are about! As a reminder: meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at Matt's Place LLC and begin right around 6:30 pm.

Last night after the meeting Aaron and Andy took the groomer on the trails going into town and back, thank you both for doing that!

I hope everyone has a beautiful rest of their Sunday, and get on out there and ride while we got the snow!! As always respect our land owners, RIDE RIGHT, ride safe, and report and hazardous conditions so we may let our volunteers know. Having a trail system in our back yard is a privilege not a right, we ALL pay for those who go off trail on people's private property.

πŸ“·Photo Creds goes to C.K. for taking these photos last night during the event 🀘, so fricken' sweet to see this many sleds lined right up out back of Matt's!!

Trails are open to the Lost and the Ranch 226 from Monterey Matt's Place LLC . Please ride with caution as there are obstacles still in and along the trails and in areas the snow is light.

The microburst that came through 2 years ago has E- Trail closed until further notice, it might take large equipment to reopen that trail as it is decimated. Please respect our private land owners, be respectful at night around houses and follow all marked trails, no one wants to hear your braaapp at midnight or have you off marked trials on private land. When we lose support of the private land owners the trails will suffer irreparable shutdowns.

Have fun, ride safe, right right and save a life!

Morning Trail Tamers!

We have had many members out on the system past few days working hard to clean things up as best we can. There are still numerous downed trees, and crews are doing their best to address as many as possible today.

Trail Report & Updates:

C2 / Corridor Trail (to Switzer Hill Rd):
-Travel is currently routed on state-signed β€œD Trail.”
-This is our official Corridor Trail.
-The app may still show E Trail, but please note: E Trail is heavily washed out and non-funded.
-We have placed signage and ribbon to deter it's use. Repairs will require special permits and are planned for summer.

S22 – Seneca Loop:
-From Matt’s place up past the power lines to Double Lean-To, the trail is being cleared and groomed today.
-Seneca Loop's overall status is still unknown β€” please ride with caution.

S22A – Mohawk Trail:
-Crews are actively clearing downed trees today.

C2 – Matt’s Place to Chambers Rd:
-Currently passable with caution, requiring some weaving around trees.
-Two members attempted further clearing but ran out of saw power due to tree size.
-I would encourage to travel down chambers road to 16 and follow the trail up to Matt's Place until we can finish clearing this section.

C2 – Switzer Hill Rd to Ranch:
-Signed and clear was the last report we received other then S29 behind the school remains closed!

Please watch for the reroute installed last year near Yawger Hill Rd.

Maple Lane & Akins Rd:
-Good to go and groomed.

More grooming to come β€” let’s hope for more snow, as wooded areas really need it! Soon as snow levels allow we will try for grooming to ranch. Fear is wooded area's are still to thin, more harm then good will be done.

Please remember to stay on the trail, between the signs, and Ride Right.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the gun raffle this Saturday! πŸŽŸοΈβ„οΈ
