The MPC Foundation raises funds for student scholarships, book awards, faculty and staff advancement awards, instructional materials, facilities improvements and academic programs. The MPC Foundation also supports several events each year. These include the annual President’s Address to the Community, the Lobo Hall of Fame, the Scholarship Awards Ceremony, the Faculty and Staff Advancement Awards

Ceremony as well as Alumni events which include the annual Homecoming Barbeque held in the fall and the Alumni Lecture Series. The MPC Foundation has an endowment of over $1M and has over $3M in assets.

MPC nursing student Roseanna represented the Maurine Church Coburn School of Nursing at the California Nursing Students’ Association Annual Convention, along with a cohort of fellow MPC nursing students.

Thanks to generous support from the MPC Foundation's donors, our students were able to attend sessions on clinical skills, NCLEX preparation, and leadership, and to connect with nursing students and professionals from across California.
Roseanna shared that the convention helped her overcome imposter syndrome and inspired her to “pay it forward” by supporting future nursing students.

We are proud of Roseanna and all of our nursing student leaders, and deeply grateful to the donors who make these transformative experiences possible at MPC.
