The Hellenic Cultural Institute (HCI), California Central Coast, began by a group of interested individuals in 2003 under the leadership of Mr. HCI was recognized as a Charitable Corporation by the State of California on August 20, 2004 and as a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service on March 14, 2005. Since that time, HCI has awarded over 20 scholarships to local high s

chool students and has recognized over 15 individuals
throughout the Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties for their accomplishments.
