Hey Everybody!.
The video from the Dance For the Rescues 6 Event (October 8, 2023) has now been completed by Hunter and Tracey, and is available for viewing at the attached link. Don't rush this 24 minute stop action, interview and energized video. Polaris is truly in the house this day. $7,077 in donations were raised and sent to Maui Humane Society and will help cats and dogs. Enjoy, and what a great contribution was made by so many in Polaris's honor. Please help distribute far and wide!

Dear Friends of Polaris:

Thank you for your generous donation to the Maui Humane Society through the recent Dance for the Rescues: A Zumba® and Pound Fitness® Event for the Animals. This event came together to honor Polaris Kinison Brown who made such grand, fun, energetic and successful efforts through her creation of Dance for the Rescues to raise awareness for animal rescue organizations through her love of dance and fitness.

Your presence, your sharing of love and spirit, and your contribution helped us build a $7,077 contribution to the Maui Humane Society!

Maui Humane Society has let us know that there is a great present need to serve several colonies of cats, feral and domestic who survived the fires and are needing food, medical care and to find loving homes (once again). Edgar, who I have been speaking with, envisions that our $7,077 DFR6 donation could be used to configure a tent with airy crates, medical care and great visibility for prospective adopters for these homeless cats. He said that a plaque, in tribute to Dance for the Rescues and Polaris Kinison Brown would be offered to adorn this critical facility.

I am still humbled by the lessons that Polaris is still teaching me, in that good folks coming together to do good things, can accomplish just about anything. Sometimes we just need a reason – and a fun and energetic one – to get our attention to “step up.” All of us have stepped up.

Happy Saturday Everyone:
Just wanted you all to know who our local and internationally recognized animal rescue and welfare groups are, who are going to be present at the Dance for the Rescues, Benefit for the Maui Humane Society. Pretty impressive lineu-up!

So, come on down to Seaside's Laguna Grande Park on Sunday October 8, 2023 from 11:30 - 3:00 pm to enjoy a day in the park with the energy of Zumba and Pound Fitness jams, as well as the heart and care of our local and regional rescue organizations, doing their best to find all of our furry companions their forever homes.

The pre-order on the Hawaiian Ono Ono Food Truck has closed, but picnicking and enjoying yourself in the park among all of your present fitness friends and new animal rescue friends to be - is all in order and OK.

I am looking forward to seeing you all.

This was our Promo a few years ago. In this spirit, we all are convening again as Dance for the Rescues 6 in tribute to Polaris Kinison Brown and in support for the Maui Humane Society this October 8, 2023. Laguna Grande Park, Seaside, 11:30- 3:00pm. This second Sunday of October is Animal Rescue Day in Monterey County, Seaside and the City of Monterey out of efforts Polaris brought to the matter of support for these vital institutions, and now Maui.....
