We love the places that remind us just how tiny we really are. 🌲⛰☀️

With over 4 million acres of California’s forests burned/burning this year, We Hike is mourning the loss of some of our favorite hiking trails. We send all those affected by these devastating wildfires hope, courage, and strength during these unprecedented times. Stay safe everyone!

Unfortunately, due to the uptick in Covid cases and the continuation of distance learning, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our fall program. We are optimistic that if we all continue to do our part by washing our hands and wearing face coverings, we will be back out on the trail in March. For any parents needing assistance during these difficult times, please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff. We are dedicated to helping our community thrive and will do our best to serve you in whatever capacity we can.

Psst, have you heard?!? Monterey County Schools will be resuming in-class learning this fall, which means our young hikers will be hitting the trails in no time! If you or someone you know is interested in hiking with us (as an adult volunteer), please shoot us an e-mail at [email protected]! Wow, friends... we have some really exciting news! We Hike participated in a Startup Business Challenge and we WON!! We are beyond thrilled to have been chosen as this years winner and receive some major financial support. We can’t wait to put the prize money to good use in order to serve more kids this fall (if covid-19 allows, of course)! Big thanks to and our hard working team for making this dream a reality. We are so grateful! 🙏🏼💜🎉
