Honoring the life of a fellow veteran is one of the greatest honors we can give one another. We honor their service, their sacrifice, and their commitment to our country. In doing so, we remind their families that their loved one's service was valued, their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and they will always be part of our veteran family.

American Legion Post 272 Color Guard proudly participated in the Montebello Heritage Festival Parade! 🇺🇸

We take great pride in representing our fellow veterans, honoring their service, and supporting our community. It was wonderful to see everyone come together for such a great event!

🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — 9/11

It was an honor for the American Legion Montebello Post 272 Honor Guard to stand alongside our community in solemn remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

The Montebello Police Department presented the Colors, the Montebello Fire Department led the Pledge of Allegiance, and the Post 272 Honor Guard rendered military honors with three r***e volleys followed by the playing of Taps.

Together, we stood as one community—our veterans, first responders, families, and neighbors—to remember the innocent lives taken, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families forever changed by that tragic day.

September 11 reminds us that even in our darkest moments, we are strongest when we stand united.

We remember. We honor. We stand together. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

American Legion Post 272 Honor Guard took part in the Back to School Give event hosted by the Veterans and Military Family Services. We ensured the Teenagers in our community were not forgotten and we let them know their community cares about them and supports them.

Today we paid tribute to an Air Force Veteran. We honor our fellow veterans despite the weather conditions. We honor veterans in the pouring rain and today we endured the heat. Our service does not end after our enlistment. 🇺🇸🙏🏽
