A HUGE shout out to our younger generation.... Christina Saldivar, Kennedy Aguirre, Isaac Garcia, Kaleb Garcia, and Aiden Garcia.
These kids were Rock stars at our booth! They hustled and made money on Saturday. It seriously made me emotional seeing these kids first, just enjoying being apart of something so meaningful and to see them enjoy doing it!
After all isn't this one of the reason we Relay? To educate our kids? To show them people get sick and we can do something about it! To show them to be courteous of others and to help others! In hopes they won't have to deal with this horrible disease! To teach them that even though they are one small person they can make BIG changes in this world!

The Monday after Relay......
I want to take this time to shout out my Team! I hope you too can take the time to read this and see how much work my team does to prep for this event.

Thank you to Rick Maldonado who is in charge of our logistics. He makes sure we have power, tables, canopies, chairs, extension cords, etc all to make sure out booth and living room looks amazing!
Thank you to Chris Maldonado Barnes and Mike Barnes for walking the streets all year long to get us All of those amazing Raffle items! Wow, just wow!
Thank you to Ann Barnes for taking care of all of our money and making sure it's all organized and goes to the right people! Also for being in charge of passing out the t-shirts and making sure our booth, walking, and game schedule was all filled in!
Thank you to Brandie Yee for making all of our flyers! They looked amazing!
Thank you to Rudy Garcia Jr. and Maria Garcia for the amazing Baseball Toss Game and Popcorn maker!!!

The Luminaria Ceremony at our Relay For Life event is by far the most special and emotional ceremony!
At 8:45pm this Saturday we will line the track with lighted bags in Memory or the ones we have lost. We will all walk around in silence as they read off a list of our loved ones. I urge you to join us this year in this amazing ceremony!
You can purchase a $10.00 bag (entire donation goes to the American Cancer Society) and decorate it for your loved one.

Are you a Cancer survivor? Do you know someone who is?
To kick off every 24 hour Relay Event all of the survivors take the very first lap of the event to kick off our big day! We all line up the track and cheer them on as they walk proudly around the field! All survivors are spoiled the day of the event in celebration of their WIN against Cancer! After all that's our reason to fight, for a world with more survivors!
If you would like to be apart of the Survivor walk and events. Please register on our team as a Survivor at the link posted in the comments below. You do not have to raise money to join.

It’s the week of Team Chrissy’s Crew Relay for Life24 Hour event! So I will be talking a lot about why I relay and what it’s all about!
My daughter Christina is named after my mom. She is definitely a Relay Baby! She was living in my tummy on our first Relay in 2010 and has been to each one since! It’s very important to me that she knows that she can accomplish anything and even though she’s this small being in this huge world that she too can make a difference in someone’s life!
She looks forward to Relay every year. This year HER 8th year at Relay and her first year selling something so that she can raise money all on her own. She is selling SLIME this year at Relay and is so excited!
