Wolf Creek reported 13" out of this storm and groomed the nordic trails on Sunday, January 25.
Unfortunately, Big Meadows only got about 2" and people are still driving on the road, so we were not able to groom.

The full moon in February is the Snow Moon, but we are missing snow, so come enjoy the company of other skiers as they wax about the days when we had snow.
No food truck lined up yet, but hoping to have one.

We are hosting this year's Backcountry Film Festival at the Church Project in Monte Vista! Bring the whole family! $15 for SJNC Members, $20 at the door, $5 for Kids, $10 for Students. Proceeds go to grooming our local ski trails. Beer available for purchase, raffle items!

Reminder that our rescheduled Rock Creek trail work day is this coming Saturday, October 18 from 9-12.
We will be pruning aspen shoots out of the trail. Kicking rocks off the trails. Tossing sticks off the trail. W**d eating any thick grass from the trails.
Bring-
-Snacks
-Water
-Loppers
-Saws
-Heavy duty w**d eater
-Rakes and shovels to fix any parts of the trail that might have gotten damaged from the rain
-Wear hunter orange since it is hunting season

Rock Creek trail work day - October 11 from 9-12sh. Meet up at the picnic table by the gate. We will do the typical trail work day to get them ready for the season. Kick rocks off the trail. Prune aspen shoots that have grown up through the trail. Cut any branches that have blown down off the trail. W**d eat taller grasses. Bring loppers, hand saws, bigger w**d eaters, gloves. We will try to finish up work by noon.
