Why Ruck?
Rucking is simple: it’s just hiking with weight. That alone is a good reason to do it: exercise, without a gym membership.
But, it could be so much more than that:
It’s a way for us to get out there with our friends and neighbors, and enjoy our city. It’s a way for us to proudly carry the American Flag through town and show our patriotism. We can do community projects while rucking: picking up trash, or bringing cans of food to the Monte Vista Food Bank, among many others.
Join us. You won’t regret it. Oh, and there may be beer and pizza after some rucks.
