Duncans Mills has an outlaw in its history — and we’re throwing him a party. 🤠
Meet Black Bart, “The Gentleman Bandit” — the most prolific stagecoach robber in the Old West, who robbed the Wells Fargo stage just west of town and left behind his very first poem right here in 1877. He never fired a shot, never robbed the passengers, and always said please. A bandit with manners — and a bit of a poet.
Come celebrate him at the Duncans Mills History Celebration!
