Another Adam Sandler sighting in Montclair!

Elana Segal spotted the actor playing pickup with her son and other teens at the Rand Park basketball courts. He graciously posed for a photo, and Elana says she invited him over for Rosh Hashanah. No word yet on whether he accepted!

It’s not Sandler’s first pickup game in town. While filming in Montclair last summer, he was frequently seen joining locals on the basketball court. 🏀

His latest appearance comes as Sandler is back in the area filming “Grown Ups 3,” with the film’s crew using the Lackawanna Plaza parking lot off Bloomfield Avenue as a staging area.

Assunta “Sue” Annette De Milia of Verona, formerly of Montclair, died peacefully at her home on Aug. 25, 2026, with her son, Stephen, and her aide, Jeraline Edwards, by her side. She was 99.
