The moon itself was hard to spot during the “Music Under the June Moon” concert in Anderson Park, but Mendelssohn (Felix and F***y) was in full glow. Then, as a nod to the concert’s 10th anniversary, the Chamber Music Society of North Jersey offered an encore arranged especially for the concert: the jazz standard “How High the Moon.”
Friends of Anderson Park is deeply grateful to our enthusiastic audience, and to the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs; the Essex County Division of Cultural Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts; and the generosity of the Bravitas Group/Silver Family Foundation. We can’t do it without you!
And thank you to the photographer Ella J. Szilagyi!
