Part-Time Baseball Field Maintenance – Montclair

TL;DR
Location: Montclair, NJ
Schedule: Flexible; a few hours per week through late October
Experience: Preferred, not required
Pay: Negotiable based on experience
----
Montclair Baseball Softball Club is looking for someone local to help maintain our baseball fields through the remainder of the fall season, which runs through late October.

This is a flexible, part-time role – typically a few hours per week – and could be a great side gig for a landscaper/lawn-care professional, someone with field maintenance experience, or a retired baseball fan.

Responsibilities may include:

Raking and prepping infields
Lining/chalking fields before games
General field cleanup and maintenance
Occasional grass cutting, as needed

The club will provide chalk and necessary field-prep equipment.

Previous baseball or athletic field maintenance experience preferred, but not required. Reliability and attention to detail are most important.

Interested or know someone who might be a good fit? Please email us at [email protected].

First swing. First hit. First base... eventually. 😂 Watching one of our littlest MBSC players find his way (the long way!) to first today was the best part of opening day. Fall ball is officially underway!

👏🏾👏🏾 A round of applause to our 10U 🥎 who fought hard last night against Verona, falling 6-7 to come in 2nd Place in the 10U A division of the Denville League. The team was down 5-0 when they came to bat in the 3rd and chipped away at Verona’s lead, tying up the game. Coach Adam sends thanks to all who came to the game and supported the team!! The girls battled and fought back like they did all year. It was a fun summer season !! 💪🏾 Keep at it Bulldogs. See you in the fall 😀
