Last night, we hosted our annual Spring Gathering of Community Partners, bringing together representatives from more than 60 organizations united by a shared commitment to strengthening our communities. The evening truly embodied the spirit of partnership, collaboration, and collective impact.

We also had the honor of celebrating our incredible Executive Director, Pam Scott, as she prepares for her well-earned retirement. We are grateful for her years of leadership, dedication, and lasting contributions to our mission and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special evening!

Thank you to Table to Table for hosting the annual Partners for Good Conference! We appreciated learning more about SNAP and broader efforts to improve food access.

It was also great to connect with so many dedicated organizations—including The Waterfront Project Inc.—who are doing impactful work in our communities.

Looking forward to continuing this important work together!

Partners for Health Foundation has signed onto two comment letters regarding a proposed rule from the U.S. Department of Education that would narrow the definition of which graduate programs qualify as “professional degrees” for federal student loan purposes. The rule would potentially limit borrowing for students pursuing degrees in fields such as nursing, public health, physician assistant studies, and social work—professions essential to the nation’s health workforce.

Finalizing this rule will result in reduced access to care, by making graduate education less affordable, disrupting health workforce pipelines, and creating obstacles for students to enter essential health and human-services professions.

Visit https://partnersfdn.org/community-letters/ to learn more about the two letters prepared by Grantmakers In Health, and the RWJFoundation.
