Meet the Team: Prospect House

Today we introduce the dedicated team behind Prospect House, MHA's highly regarded day program serving adults living with mental illness.

Since 1956, Prospect House has provided a supportive, recovery-focused environment where individuals can build skills, strengthen independence, and work toward their personal goals. Through individualized treatment plans, group programming, wellness activities, vocational support, and access to mental health professionals, the team helps participants navigate their recovery journey while reducing the risk of hospitalization.

Our compassionate staff, including clinicians, case managers, nursing professionals, and psychiatric providers, work together to support each individual's mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being. From art therapy and illness management groups to coding, horticulture, and vocational training, the Prospect House team creates opportunities for growth, connection, and success every day.

Join us in celebrating the incredible professionals who make Prospect House a place of hope, healing, and recovery for so many in our community.

June is Men’s Health Month.

When we talk about men's health, mental health belongs in the conversation.

This month, we're sharing a few reminders that every man deserves to hear:

✔️ It's okay to ask for help.
✔️ Your feelings matter.
✔️ It's okay to show emotion.
✔️ You are not alone.

Taking care of your mental and emotional well-being is just as important as taking care of your physical health. By encouraging open conversations and challenging stigma, we can help create a culture where men feel supported in seeking help when they need it.

A healthy mind is part of a healthy life.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and diversity of LGBTQ+ individuals and communities. Pride is a time to honor authenticity, uplift voices, and advocate for a world where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.

At MHA, we believe that mental health care should be accessible, affirming, and welcoming for all. We remain committed to fostering spaces where individuals can find hope, healing, and connection, just as they are.

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

As comes to a close, the conversation doesn’t stop here. Mental health matters in every season, not just in May.

The conversations we start today can change lives all year long. Let this be a reminder to keep checking in, keep reaching out, and keep showing compassion for yourself and others. Healing isn’t linear, and no one should have to navigate it alone.

Be kind to your mind.
