This weekend we had an absolute blast at Camp Turrell! There was so much about the weekend to rave about -- ATVs, Ziplining, ShotGun & Rifle Shooting, Gaga, Canoeing, Kayak, Archery, Rappelling, Tomahawk throwing and so much more. What made the weekend the extra special was the phenomenal group of volunteers who went to unbelievable lengths to make this a wonderful experience for the nearly 300 scouts and adults who joined. I spoke with several of them who traveled over 1,000 miles just to bring joy to scouts. The smiles they spread over the weekend and beyond reminded me of Booker T Washington's quote "Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others."

Thank you very much for your incredible service Camp Turrell volunteers!

Please share with other volunteers and comment below with what you love about Camp Turrell / Scouting.
