Double J Ranch

Double J Ranch Double J Ranch is a non-profit horse sanctuary in Montara, CA, providing lifelong care, love, and rehabilitation for our five horses. Alibi is a rescued horse.

We offer lessons and educational activities to share the joy of horses with our community. 🐴💙 Although he is disabled and unable to be ridden, he is fun-loving, and full of life. We would like to take on more horses like Alibi, and educate the public on horse welfare and the importance of supporting rescued horses. However, we are financially unable to do so. Your donation will help change this.

What a magical day at the Double J Ranch! 🐴💙
Our annual Halloween celebration once again filled Misty Montara with laughter, music, and the sound of happy hooves. Families and friends joined us for pony rides, games, bluegrass tunes, and—of course—kisses from Alibi at the Kissing Booth! 💋🐴
We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this event special: our wonderful volunteers, musicians, Boy Scouts, neighbors, and all who came out to celebrate. Your smiles and support make our ranch feel alive with community spirit.
