White Lake Toastmasters Club #7910 Area 19, Western Division, District 62 of Toastmasters International Meetings 7:00-8:00 a.m. EDT every second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

New members welcome. We meet person to person and Virtually via zoom. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colo., the organization's membership exceeds 364,000 in more than 16,200 clubs in 145 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

In the beginning there is an icebreaker speech. It can be one of the most challenging and difficult speeches for many people. There are plenty of great options on YouTube that anyone could watch and get ideas from.

When it comes to the icebreaker, take a deep breath, remember to go slow and be easy. This will actually end up being one of the easiest speeches to give.
