Our 25+ year service award recognition this weekend was such an auspicious day of celebrating our members who have served in Freemasonry. Fellowship was enjoyed by all this day. These pictures capture the moments of few sincere emotions. Congratulations to our 25+ year members and we look forward to them becoming our next 40 year members to receive awards. Thank you to all the members who helped in organizing and contacting the brothers. We appreciate the visitors and families for coming out and making this a great celebratory event. SMIB!

It is with sorrow we report the death of a member of Old River Lodge No. 1442. Brother William C. Miller, laid his working tools down and has passed into the celestial lodge above on May 13, 2026.
Bro. Miller was Initiated at Lewisville No. 201 on November 29, 1990, Passed on July 25, 1991, and Raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason on October 19, 1991. He became a dual member with Old River No. 1442 on October 6,1992 and later demit from Lewisville No. 201. He received the Golden Trowel Award on June 23, 2000 from Old River #1442. He became a Life Member of Old River Lodge #1442 on March 4, 2023. Brother Miller was a 34.5 year member of our fraternity. May the blessings of heaven rest upon him. Please keep his family in your prayers.
A graveside service will take place at Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Portland, Texas on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 1:30 P.M.

It is with sorrow we report the death of a member of Old River Lodge No. 1442, Brother Stephen “Nick” Johnson, who has passed into the celestial lodge above on April 22, 2026
Bro. Johnson was Initiated at Old River Lodge No. 1442 on February 12, 1985, Passed on March 31, 1985, and raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason on April 22, 1985. He received the Golden Trowel Award and was an Endowed Member on the same day of June 25, 2014 from Cedar Bayou Lodge #321 (now Batson Lodge #231). Brother Johnson was a 35 year member of our fraternity. May the blessings of heaven rest upon him. Please keep his family in your prayers.
- Visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521, on April 30, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the Masonic Funeral Service at Navarre Funeral Home on April 30, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm.
