This afternoon we rode out the Eville, North, and Blanchard trails to close all our gates to protect our landowners' property in the off season. While the season was much too short, we did the best we could with what we had. A big THANK YOU to all our landowners, members, and people who threw a few dollars (or much more!) our way this season so we can continue to provide the best possible trails in Monson! Stay tuned for upcoming trail work projects as we're already planning for the 2026-27 season!

Trail Report 02/27/2026: Last night Gary and Bruce groomed the North Trail, around town, and Blanchard trails with skandics. On Monday while heading out to do Eville the BR suffered a torn track and had to be limped back. Hoping to get that patched to finish the season this weekend. As we've said for a month, we really need more snow. We have missed almost every storm since the foot of snow back in January and Saturday is going to hurt the trail system between warm temps and traffic. There may be a couple of snow chances next week, if we miss both of those again we may end up being done for the season as our base will really start eroding, but we're not throwing in the towel until we can't go anymore. Think snow!

Tomorrow is snow roller day! We've been working to get all the tracks set up for all the events around town. With school vacation week and warmer temps our trails are taking a beating. Pole Line and Blanchard are getting worn down with many dirt spots and rocks showing. North trail is holding up better and we plan to groom Eville tomorrow morning early after this little bit of snow overnight. Keep those snow dances going, as we've said for weeks, we desperately need 6-12 inches of snow!

Trail Report 02/11/2026: Tonight we groomed the pole line and in town trails to try and prevent the snow from blowing off the next few days. We only received about 3 inches of the 6-12 we really need, but we're doing the best we can with what we have. Gary groomed the Blanchard trail and Pumphouse trail multiple times this week, but both trails are very high traffic. North trail and Eville trail area holding up well and are being groomed periodically. School vacation week is coming up so keep those snow dances going!

Trail Report 02/06/2026: Tonight we did the best we could grooming the Pole Line, Turning Page, Lake, and Blanchard trail. With the warm sun this past week and minimal snow to begin with there isn't a lot for the drag to work with. Bruce and Matt have been keeping up with the North trail with sled drags and the Eville trail is holding up well due to the two connections to ITS 110 currently closed on Elliotsville Snowmobile Club's end. Your only connection through there currently is Bowerbank/ Sebec Lake. We really need 6 inches of snow for a refresh and it's likely we won't groom the pole line again until we get more snow.
