Yesterday was our last day of work in Jadán finishing up this summers projects 🔨🪚

We finished out the day with a Pampamesa, where each host family brought a traditional dish to share with the group. Everyone expressed their gratitude and it was truly a great night 🥰

The volunteers left Jadán this morning to head into Cuenca for the next few days for some much deserved rest and exploring. Thank you to all our volunteers, our supporters, our friends in Jadán, and anyone whose been following along 😊

Thanks to your generosity, we got to take a group of kids to the zoo today! 🦁💚

For most of them, it was their very first trip to the zoo, and they had an absolute blast.

A huge shoutout to Jill for organizing the fundraiser that made this day possible. ❤️

Another amazing day in Jadán. Kids camp was a success, we made more progress on the bathrooms, and we had some quality bonding time with the group. We truly are lucky for our partners in Jadán ❤️

A little kids camp magic, a little roof work, a little electrical, and a whole lot of sunscreen. Wrapped it all up with a movie and called it a day. 🎥🛠️

Day 1 in Jadán ✅🪏💪🏼

We got to work on getting the walls built for a bathroom, and carried LOTS of block up a very steep hill in preparation for another one of this weeks projects.

We also finished off the night with a photo scavenger hunt which was loads of fun and got us all practicing our Spanish skills.

We’re headed back to Jadán, Ecuador. 🇪🇨

This summer we’ll be working alongside the community on several projects, including bathroom construction, roof repairs, and new biodigester systems that will make a lasting impact for local families.
