Very exciting news! We will be launching a 12 Week Summer Youth Program Starting Mid June-begin of Sept! Yay! Summer is coming!!! DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM:

This summer, give your child a place to grow in faith, friendship, leadership, and community! Beginning in June 2026and running through September 2026, First Church of Monson is excited to offer a fun and meaningful 12-week Sunday youth program for children of all school ages.

Each Sunday from 10:00–11:00 AM, kids will experience a new stand-alone adventure centered around our summer theme: Growing God’s Garden. Through exciting activities, creative skits, hands-on projects, games, meaningful discussions, and mentorship opportunities, children will explore what it means to grow spiritually while making lasting friendships.

One of the most special parts of this program is the leadership and guidance of our older youth, who will help mentor and encourage younger children each week. It’s a beautiful opportunity for kids to learn from one another, build confidence, and create strong connections within a caring church community.

Families are welcome to attend all 12 weeks or just some of them — vacations and summer schedules are completely okay! Since each week features its own message and activities, children can jump in anytime without feeling behind.

This program is designed to help children:

✨ Grow in kindness, faith, and confidence
✨ Connect with caring mentors and leaders
✨ Discover how they can make a difference in the lives of others
✨ Become part of a joyful and welcoming church community

Youth United meet-up is this Wednesday night April 15th! 6–7 p.m. is grades 5-6, 7–7: 30 PM is dinner for everyone, and 7:30–9 p.m. is grades 7-12. All are welcome! You don’t have to belong to any particular church to come. This is a community youth group! We will be meeting at the first congregational Church of Monson, which is located at 5 High St., Monson.

Youth United is WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 10th. We are going to be working on a big 3D project, building and tricking out the "market stalls" for the Journey to Bethlehem Community Pageant Event coming up on Saturday. We already have a great jump on it, but this is the fun part!!! See you there!

Pizza dinner and snacks! 6pm start! First Church Monson, 5 High Street. You don't have to be from any particular church or attend church at all to be a part of this group and attend meetings. We would LOVE to see you! Because we aren't doing separate lessons this time around and are working on one giant project (Building Bethlehem) we will combine both Youth United Jr (Grades 5-6) and Youth United Sr. (Grades 7-12) for a duration lasting from 6-8pm. Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Saturday 6pm event!! If you have any supplies that you think would be helpful, bring them! If you have any friends that you think would love this, bring them too!! See you soon!
