🌿 Introducing the SGV Ecotherapy Collective 🌿
A new community is forming — and you're invited to grow with us.
The SGV Ecotherapy Collective is coming to life to connect, support, and co-create wellness rooted in equitable, reciprocal relationships with more-than-human nature. 🌎🦋
✨ This grassroots project is starting as part of The Place Within, a community mental health center in Monrovia, CA. But it’s designed to evolve, move, and shift as the community needs — and you're part of that vision.
💚 Who is it for?
Open to all practitioners of wellness who identify with the field of Ecotherapy — not limited to licensed mental or behavioral health professionals. If your work intersects with healing and the Earth, there’s space for you here.
🌱 What to expect:
We're creating intentional spaces — online and in-person — for community building, resource sharing, and learning. Early ideas include:
🔹 Nature-based meet-ups
🔹 Discussion groups
🔹 Talking circles
🔹 Book reviews & collective learning
🔹 Presentations from local Ecotherapy practitioners & programs
This is a collaborative, evolving space. Come as you are, bring what you know, and help shape what’s to come.
💸 Participation is free or donation-based — any fees collected go directly to support the Collective, not The Place Within. Donations to the nonprofit are always welcome, but never required.
