On this date in 1951, 75 years ago, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" was first published. It was the FIRST in what ended up being a beloved seven book series called the Chronicles of Narnia by University of Oxford professor Clive Staples Lewis. Happy Narnia Day everyone.

Our guide will be Dr. Roger White, Professor Emeritus at Azusa Pacific University, founding curator of the C. S. Lewis and Inklings Collection, and editor of C. S. Lewis and His Circle (Oxford University Press). He’ll lead us through the growth of Lewis’s personal library and offer insights into the sacramental role of reading in Lewis’s life and work.
