We’re excited to team up with the Monrovia Youth Basketball Organization to help provide a coaches clinic this season!
We believe that investing in our coaches is an investment in our kids. Coaching the coaches helps build a strong, positive foundation for young athletes, not only in basketball, but in confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and how they approach challenges.
Being a youth coach is about so much more than wins and losses. You have an opportunity to be a positive influence, help kids believe in themselves, and create memories they may carry with them for years. And while coaching can have a huge impact on the kids, it can be incredibly rewarding for the coaches too.
If you’ve ever thought about coaching but weren’t sure you knew enough about the game, how to structure practices, or how to work with different ages, this clinic could be the extra boost of confidence you need to step up and give it a shot.
You don’t have to be a basketball expert to make a difference. Sometimes a great youth coach is simply someone willing to learn, encourage, and show up for kids.
We’re looking forward to a great season and continuing to invest in the people who invest their time in our youth!
