🎬 What a great way to wrap up our Summer Drive-In Movie Series!

We had an amazing turnout for our final movie night as families gathered to enjoy The Karate Kid under the stars. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's movie nights such a success!

A special thank you to our wonderful sponsors, Chamber board volunteers, Monroe County Youth Ambassadors, and the Monroeville Public Works crew for helping make these free community events possible. We loved spending Thursday nights with our community and can't wait to see everyone again next summer! 🍿🌟

The Monroeville/Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is proud to award scholarships to two outstanding Monroe County Youth Ambassadors, Zadie Ann Ikner and Jacob Burgess.

Both students are seniors at Excel High School and have dedicated the past two years to serving as Youth Ambassadors, volunteering at numerous Chamber and community events. Zadie Ann Ikner is the daughter of Tina Ikner and Stuart Ikner. She plans to attend either the University of West Alabama or Coastal Alabama Community College this fall. Jacob Burgess is the son of Angie and Mark Burgess and plans to attend the University of South Alabama.

The Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to Jodi Chambers, Edward Jones, for generously sponsoring these scholarships.

Congratulations to these two deserving students as they take the next step in their journey.

The Chamber would like to thank Chief Nursing Officer and Emergency Department Manager Angie Black with Monroe County Hospital for taking the time to speak with the Monroe County Youth Ambassadors.

Angie provided a valuable and informative overview of the nursing profession, along with insight into the many departments that work together to serve patients at the hospital.

Opportunities like this help our Youth Ambassadors gain a better understanding of career paths while learning from dedicated professionals in our community. Monroe County Youth Ambassadors. Monroe County Hospital
