Calling all fishermen to the Farm to Table! This box of custom handmade fishing lures was donated by Mike Colquett, a fisherman who turned his love of the sport into a creative hobby.

Mike has been making lures for the past two to three years, and his attention to detail shows in every bait. Each lure is painted with high-quality paint, finished with realistic 3D eyes, and dipped two to three times in a glossy clear coat that gives them a beautiful shine, especially in clear water. They are also finished with top-line treble hooks, giving the baits an impressive outcome

This box includes a great variety of baits, including jerk baits, shallow-running crank baits, red craw fish cranks and rattles, splatter back patterns, broken-back baits for shallow water that mimic a double-jointed swimming action, a 3-inch saltwater walking bait, glide baits, and more. One of the lures even features a one-of-a-kind blue-sided pattern.

Glide baits alone can sell anywhere from $20 to $40 and sometimes much higher, with some reaching $150. This is an especially meaningful donation because this is the first set of lures Mike has ever offered for sale.

Thank you Mike, for donating such a unique and beautifully crafted auction item! Be sure to bid on this tackle box and take home a set of lures made with skill, care, and passion. Mike Colquett

Introduction of Andrew Weaver

We are excited to feature a handcrafted piece by Andrew Weaver in this year’s Farm to Table live auction.

Andrew is a husband, father, preacher, and talented woodworker who has been woodworking for about eight years. His love for the craft began while watching and helping his dad build cabinets, and over time it grew into something he truly enjoys.

Andrew and his wife have been involved in ministry for the past two years, serving at Holly Grove in Castleberry. He also works for South Alabama Gas, where he has been employed for the past five years.

We are grateful to Andrew for sharing his time and talent with Monroeville Main Street and for donating this special piece to support Farm to Table. Be sure to take a closer look during the live auction and place your bid.
