We need your help! 🚨

The Ohio House’s biennium budget proposal eliminates the Public Library Fund and replaces it with a lump dollar amount for all Ohio libraries, which will result in cuts to libraries across the state. If passed, this will lead to cuts across Ohio’s libraries and reduce your library services.

What YOU can do NOW:
1. Click this link below to send a message to Erie & Huron County House members and House Speaker Huffman TODAY. Urge them to restore the Public Library Fund to the level proposed in the Governor’s budget.
2. Drop off or stop in to write a letter that we will deliver to the Statehouse on Tuesday, April 8.

Stop in the library and grab a “blind date with a book”! For $10 you get a book (that you keep) and a drink, snack and stickers to go with it! We have different genres to choose from and you’ll find something for all ages!
