Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who help children learn, grow, and thrive.

At the Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana, we know that strong families build strong communities. The encouragement, guidance, and love that fathers provide help shape confident, resilient children and create brighter futures for generations to come.

🥫 Have You Heard the News? 🥫

The food pantry formerly located at Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana has a new home and a new name!

We are excited to announce our partnership with St. Joseph MBC of West Monroe as we launch The Community Table— a centrally located resource designed to make food assistance more accessible for individuals and families throughout our community.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity, donations, and support that have helped this outreach grow. A special thank you to Brown’s Roofing for helping relocate the pantry and to LSU AgCenter Ouachita Parish for their continued support of this important community effort.

🌱 Teamwork Makes It Grow! 🌱

One of the greatest things young people can learn is how to work together, encourage one another, and grow as a team — and we got to see that firsthand during yesterday’s visit from the Morehouse Parish School Board 21st Century Community Learning Summer Program!

Thanks to Origin Bank, these elementary students explored the Origin Bank Family Garden while learning about bees, how strawberries grow, proper watering techniques, and discovering more than 20 different plants growing in the garden.

The laughter, teamwork, curiosity, and excitement were just as beautiful as the garden itself. 💚 A special thank you to the amazing Origin Bank volunteers who helped pave the way and make these hands-on learning experiences possible for children in our community.

Together, we’re growing more than gardens — we’re growing future leaders. 🌻
