Prepare for the continual flood.....

Glory5K definitely lived up to its name! All the volunteers that came out and helped everything run smooth this post goes to you!

All morning were smiles. Participants spoke about how much fun they had. One runner called after the race and said "this was a great experience, can't wait until next year."

We aim to make this an annual event and next year hopefully we can have 1000 participants! In order to do that we will need your help. But for now, let's celebrate the smiles today and help some families in the NICU!!!

We were honored to have Miss Louisiana come out and run with us at the Glory 5K.

Her presence meant a lot, not just because she showed up, but because she believes in something bigger. We’re excited about the opportunity to work together in helping Louisiana children get healthy, stay healthy, and feel seen along the journey.

You should have seen how she encouraged the kids as they crossed the finish line. In that moment, Gabby wasn't just the queen of Louisiana beauty😊 she was a person that genuinely cared about the kids finishing something they started!

Thank you, Miss Louisiana Gabby McLeod, for running with us and in case you didn't know we family now! 💛💛💛

The Glory Kids Fun Run was an absolute blast.

More than 75 kids showed up ready to run, laugh, play, and have the time of their lives. From the starting line to the finish, it was pure joy, big energy, and nonstop fun.

Seeing all those smiling faces was a reminder that this day was bigger than a race. It was community, it was hope, and it was beautiful to watch.

The kids showed up and showed out and they made the Glory 5K even more special.

In our very first 5K it would be a Glory move for the smallest person in the pack to come and win the overall spot!

Meet 12 year old Cheston Gullege from West Monroe. Who bypassed the Glory Kids Fun Run so he can take on a real challenge. Lining up in a tunnel full of runners 2 and 3 times his age, he came out the gate blazing.

Mile one..... ahead. Mile two....... still ahead Cheston represented the Spirit of Glory by not letting what people thought of his size and age stop him. He led and never even looked back!

Glory had a 1% chance of survival, and defied all the odds. Looking at the more experienced runners you would think Cheston also would have a 1% chance on winning the 5K.... Be like Cheston Gulledge and defy the odds.

Etched in History as our very first Glory Cup Recipient 🏆

We are Glorious!!! Watching people race to the finish line and earn the Founder’s Medals was something special. We walked the 5k track a few times and the effort, and the excitement made the moment even better. Every medal earned today helped tell the story of a strong beginning, and we loved seeing our runners finish with pride.

Seeing all the happy smiles today meant so much to us. It was a beautiful reminder of what community, hope, and love can look like when people come together. We pray this is only the beginning and that these smiles continue for years to come.

Thank you, Representative Michael Echols, for showing up and helping send our runners off today. Your presence meant a lot, and we truly appreciate you helping make the Glory 5K special. Glory’s Garden is here to stay, and we’re grateful you were part of the foundation we’re building in Northeast Louisiana.
