Kat is still my #1 helper when it comes to exercising the dogs. 🐾❤️ She has such a calm, quiet presence about her, and somehow the dogs just fall right in line for her. No fuss, no drama… just Kat and her four-legged friend doing their thing.

So thankful for my helper and the way she loves these animals. 🐶🤎

Our Golden babies have officially been vet checked, and before long, they’ll be spreading their love into the arms of their new families.

I’ve been ridiculed and talked down to for breeding, and honestly… I’ve learned to let it roll right off my back. My reasons are mine, and I know the heart behind what I do.

The Golden Retriever breed, when done correctly, is an absolute treasure. If you know Mocha, or any of my Goldens, then you know what I mean. They are gentle, loving, loyal, and just have a way of bringing joy wherever they go.

And in a world that can sometimes feel full of nonsense, they make things simple.

They love.
They trust.
They make us smile.
And they bring so much happiness to the people lucky enough to call them family. ❤️

These babies are deeply loved here, and it is my absolute pleasure to help spread that love to their new families in the coming weeks.

Here’s to raising beautiful, healthy Goldens with purpose, love, and a whole lot of heart. 🐶💛

This morning one of the puppies was soaking up some extra snuggles when Mocha quietly came over to make sure her baby knew Mom was close. Watching her gentle, protective love is such a beautiful reminder of the way God cares for us. He created mothers with an incredible instinct to nurture, comfort, and protect, and every time I watch Mocha with her puppies, I’m reminded of His perfect design.

“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.” — Isaiah 66:13

God’s love is often reflected in the little moments, and this sweet one was a reminder that we are never far from His care. ❤️🐾

After a healthy checkup and the vet’s blessing, we felt peace about letting Mocha have one more litter.

On July 2, God blessed us with six beautiful Golden Retriever puppies. Every new life is a reminder of His goodness and His perfect design. As always, Mocha has been an amazing mama, loving and caring for each of her babies so well.

In the weeks ahead, these precious puppies will be looking for families to love and call their own. We are praying that God places each one exactly where they are meant to be.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” — James 1:17

For a season, we shared almost every adventure, animal update, and farm moment. We loved bringing you along for the journey and giving you a glimpse into the life God has blessed us with.

As we’ve stepped back, we’ve been reminded that some of life’s greatest treasures aren’t found in posts, pictures, or likes—they’re found in time spent with family, meaningful conversations, quiet moments, and making memories with the people God has entrusted to us.

We’ll still share from time to time, but our focus is shifting toward being more present and cherishing the moments that matter most.

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12

Thank you for following along, supporting our farm, loving our animals, and encouraging our family. We look forward to sharing occasional glimpses of this beautiful life, just not every day.

This morning, 17½ dozen eggs headed to the food hub, and my heart is full.

Sometimes I get so focused on what’s next that I forget to stop and thank God for what He’s already doing. Today was one of those moments. This isn’t just a delivery of eggs—it’s a glimpse of a dream He placed on my heart years ago. Watching Lotus Hope Farms grow from an idea into something that blesses others is a reminder that God’s timing is always perfect.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Today, I’m choosing gratitude. Thank You, Lord, for every opportunity, every provision, and every step forward.

Sometimes healing comes on four legs. ❤️

As many of you remember, Kat was absolutely heartbroken when we made the difficult decision to help Badabing cross the Rainbow Bridge. While she loves the other horses here at the farm, there has still been a little sadness in her heart ever since.

Today, that changed.

With the help of a very special friend, we welcomed Enjoy, a beautiful Dutch Warmblood with a stunning flea-bitten gray coat, to the farm. From the moment he arrived, Kat has been absolutely beaming. Seeing her smile, laugh, and reconnect with that joy has been a gift beyond words.

God has a way of bringing comfort when we need it most, and today felt like one of those moments. We are excited to watch this new partnership grow and see where their journey leads.

A huge thank you to Rachel for helping make this happen. Your kindness and generosity mean more than you know.

And to Kat—happy early birthday! May Enjoy bring you countless memories, adventures, lessons, and reasons to smile.

Around the farm, Mocha is more than just a dog—she’s family. ❤️

She may not fit the breed standard, but she sets the standard for loyalty, gentleness, and love. She greets every visitor like an old friend, and somehow finds a way to capture every heart she meets. From early mornings in the to quiet evenings on the porch, she is always right where she belongs.

Every farm needs good soil, strong fences, and faithful animals. We are blessed to have one of the most faithful there is.

And Mocha is certainly one of those gifts. 🐾❤️

Nothing makes the herd happier than a fresh bale of hay!

The sweet smell fills the air, the animals come running, and for a moment everything feels simple and right. Watching them enjoy God’s provision is a reminder that He faithfully cares for all of His creation—and us too.

“Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” Psalm 34:5

Today we’re grateful for fresh hay, content animals, and the countless ways God provides for our needs, both big and small. ❤️

Not just any chicken…this is Lincoln.

She was hatched right here on the farm, and from the very beginning, Aviana made it her mission to handle her every day, helping her grow into the calm, friendly chicken she is today. Watching this sweet bond reminds me that love, patience, and gentle care can make all the difference.

God entrusted us with His creation, and there is something beautiful about seeing a child nurture and care for one of His creatures with such tenderness.

“The righteous care for the needs of their animals…” — Proverbs 12:10
