Something fun is headed our way next month! The Shrine Circus is coming, more details soon, but mark it down, it's a good time for the whole family and it all goes to support a great cause.

Fun fact: Shriners International got its start in the 1870s, founded on the idea of fun, fellowship, and the belief that pleasure and philanthropy could work hand in hand. Over 150 years later, that's still exactly what we're about.

Did you know Shriners Children's provides care to kids regardless of a family's ability to pay? Every event we host, every dollar we raise, goes toward making sure kids get the care and support they need.

That's what it's all about.

Ever wondered what it means to be a Shriner? It's brotherhood, community service, and a whole lot of fun, all wrapped into one. Our members show up for each other and for Monroe, year round.

The real stars of Battle of the Diamond weekend are our Shrine kids. Special teams are formed just for them, with firefighters and officers stepping in to help at bat, on the bases, and in the field, making sure every child gets to play ball like everyone else and feel the cheers of the crowd.

This is what community looks like. Sept 11-12.

Mark your calendars! Battle of the Diamond is coming Sept 11-12 and it's two days you won't want to miss.

Get ready for hometown heroes going head to head for a great cause. Local firefighters and first responders take on law enforcement in a spirited softball showdown, all to raise funds for Shriners Children's and local charities.

Fun fact: the red fez worn by Shriners dates back to the origins of the organization in the 1870s and has become one of the most recognizable symbols of who we are. Every fez tells a story of brotherhood and service.

Ever seen us out in our fezzes at a parade? Now you know the story behind it!
