What an incredible Opening Day as we kicked off a brand-new season at the CKids Rosh Hashana Opening Day!

Our young all-stars came ready for game day — customizing sports caps, walking the holiday themed Hall of Fame, competing in the “Simanim Playoffs”, and heading to the Challah Pro Shop to decorate their own round challahs. They also created adorable pomegranate honey jars and jumped on the trend with their own viral honey dot cakes!

At our Official Team Draft, each child received their team patch — followed by an epic “shofar Thunderstix” All-Star Walkout and competitive holiday races.

We also welcomed our incredible new teachers to the team & our fabulous parents had a chance to connect. A delicious brunch and sweet holiday treats was enjoyed by all. From the opening pitch to the final buzzer, it was an amazing day of Jewish pride, friendship, learning and team spirit — and the perfect kickoff to an incredible season ahead!

Kick off the High Holiday season with High Holiday Musical Journey and Deli Dinner!

This engaging event, to be held Saturday night, September 5th, at 9:00 pm, will feature Havdalah, Deli Dinner and music led by musician Mordechai Walker. This will be followed by musical Selichot prayers at 10:00 pm.

Selichot (forgiveness prayers) are a beautiful custom that ushers in the High Holiday season. Think of it as a "warm up" for your "soul workout" during the High Holidays. The prayers service will be about 30 minutes. (Some have the custom to recite Selichot after midnight. We are holding it earlier).

This event is free of charge, thanks to the sponsorship of Jack & Suzy Berkowitz and Rus Rabinowitz. Dinner will be served and books will be provided.

Free but Please RSVP so we can make sure the number of books and catering to order.
