I read this today and thought of all of my fellow ladies that like me feel deeply, but say little. God values Godly women who pray, hold their tongue, and at times, your silence says more than your words can.
The author is unknown, but the poem is powerful.
You are not alone- He hears you and He knows your name:
Her Silence Speaks
“She doesn’t scream to make her mark,
Her silence echoes through the dark.
Where words may fail and noise may fade,
Her quiet strength is deeply laid.
She holds her ground with silent grace,
And leaves God’s light in every place.
She listens more than most would dare,
And finds her wisdom nestled there.
She bears the storm with calm within,
And builds her peace where fears had been.
Her stillness, forged from pain endured,
Is strength in form, so calm, assured.
While others boast of battles won,
She heals the world with what she’s done.
Her kindness plants the fiercest seed,
A soul that answers every need.
She mends the cracks with love and light,
And brings the day out of the night.
No crown, no throne, but she serves a King,
Her courage hides in what’s unseen.
She walks alone, but not in shame,
Her worth is more than worldly fame.
She carries dreams not loud, but deep,
And sows the hopes the lost ones keep.
Her silence is not weakness — no,
It’s where the deepest powers grow.
For in her hush, a storm is born,
A mighty tide, a truth reborn.
She breaks no glass, yet shifts the air,
And shows the world that she is there.
So never doubt the quiet kind,
The warriors of heart and mind.
They move with peace, they fight with grace,
They carry stars in every space.
Her silence speaks, and through it all,
She stands unshaken, true, and tall.”
