Looking forward to the NMB student concert presenting music from this century. This is one movement of the final work to be performed - Topographies. A combined group of ULM and Louisiana Tech students will play 2 movements from this fascinating work that won the first Black Bayou Composition award! Concert is today 10/12 at 3pm at Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe.

An alligator in a scarecrow contest?!? Of course that’s where we went. I think he’s playing that trumpet and not eating it, but it is an alligator. Regardless, the pumpkin turtles seem to approve.
