🇺🇸 25 YEARS 🇺🇸

It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since September 11, 2001.

Most of us can still remember exactly where we were when we heard the news. We remember the fear, the confusion, the sadness, and watching our country come together in a way we hadn’t seen before.

Today, we remember the 2,977 people who lost their lives that day and the families who have spent the last 25 years missing them.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and civilians who ran toward the chaos to help others. So many never made it home.

Working in emergency services, September 11 hits a little differently. It’s a reminder that every call is a real person, a real family, and someone's worst day.

25 years later, we still remember.

We remember the lives.

We remember the sacrifice.

We remember the heroes.

At last night's Annual Meeting, Kelly Laton and Larry Love were re-elected to the Board of Directors. They will each serve a three-year term.

Thankful we were able to assist Waxhaw Fire Department with this incident yesterday. Strong partnerships are at the heart of the volunteer fire service, and we're always proud to work alongside our neighboring departments when our communities need us.
