Greetings Central Walton friends and family!
We are so excited to begin another year of Football and Cheer!
Saturday 9/12 is the Jamboree to kick off the season. In addition, pictures will be taken by Sportography that day. Please get with your coach/team mom for your time slot, and order forms. Forms will also be available on Saturday.
Your booster club would like to provide an update on the planning for this 2020 season. Currently, we have three volunteers that comprise the booster club for Central Walton. We are in need of volunteers to assist with this season. We also need more board members. The planning is done, but we need some help with tasks. This year the booster club will not be able to do our traditional fundraising campaigns (candy bars, Krispy Kreme etc) due to the pandemic. It has been determined the risk to our children and ourselves is too great.
Also due to the covid pandemic, we have agreed that our traditional FUN DAY party will be cancelled for this season. We know how much fun this day of celebration is to our cheerleaders and football players, and we hope you understand the position we are in.
On to better news!
Central Walton Booster club will provide the following for cheer and football players for the 2020 season-
- Team break away banner
- Pink socks to acknowledge Breast Cancer awareness month ( October )
- Cheer Bows
Banners will be available in time for the Jamboree. Coaches/Team moms will be contacted via email about pick up details for Saturday morning.
We will provide more updates about Homecoming and how that will be handled this year as soon as we have more info.
