It's SHOWTIME! 🤩 It's finally the moment you've been waiting for! After hours of pouring through audition and callback notes, we are ready to present our strange and unusual cast for Strauss Youth Academy's Beetlejuice, Jr! First, we would like to thank everyone who came to auditions! You made our job extremely difficult. It was our intention to cast everyone who auditioned. If you do not see your name on the cast list, please message the page.
Cast: You will get your scripts TOMORROW NIGHT after the MANDATORY PARENT MEETING. Please remember that this is an INTENSIVE workshop... the directors expect you to review the songs and scenes being taught/reviewed BEFORE practice every time so you are familiar with them.

Rehearsals begin: Tuesday, May 26, after the parent meeting, until 7:30 p.m. Most of our rehearsals will go until 8:30 each night (9:00 on Fridays), but since we will be missing 2 of our directors this week, we will end at 7:30 on Tuesday and Thursday.
MANDATORY Parent Meeting: Tuesday, May 25 @ 5:30 PM

We understand that some actors might be disappointed with the casting. Please understand that there is so much that goes into casting decisions. It is a process that takes a lot of thought and consideration of multiple factors. Learning how to deal with that disappointment is a huge factor in the world of theatre and life itself. Please know that we understand the multitude of feelings at this time. We saw SO much talent and growth during all of the auditions! We want everyone to give their all and HAVE FUN during this intensive workshop! This will be a great learning experience for everyone!
