One man's trash is another man's treasure. Thank you to the person who trashed this!
I have been wanting a cascading succulent garden for some time and now I have the opportunity to try my hand at one.
The base of this water fountain is falling apart, but Mama hens don't mind. They will live and make the most of even the worst crumbling of homes. Not only will they live, but they themselves will beautify it and hold it together with their little chicks closely tucked under their wing.
Look around with a new eye and see what you can turn from trash to beautiful treasure today!
The top right succulent had no roots and was part of a bouquet of flowers my hubby brought home to me a few weeks ago. I took it off the display stick and set it on top of the dry dirt in a pot of aloe plants I have. It took about two weeks and it now has several new roots shooting out. This will be a first for me. They truly live up to their scientific name "sempervivum" meaning "forever living"!
