We are having our monthly Business Association of Monroe (BAM) meeting TONIGHT (i.e., Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) at Bennys Pizza Joint!

We'll network and discuss what we can do to increase business here in Monroe. I believe we are very good at bringing people to Monroe for our big events such as the Monroe Festival, Christmas in July, and the Light Parade but let's discuss other ways, creative ways we can bring business to Monroe. Is it more marketing, social media, websites, or a combination of these and more? We want everyone to share your experiences. What works and what doesn't and how can BAM help your business.

Plus, we do have copies of the 2026 Monroe Map & Business Directory tri-fold brochure printed and ready to hand out to any business in the 97456 zip code.

JUST THREE DAYS UNTIL THE MONROE FESTIVAL ON SATURDAY, MAY 16TH! Join us for this free, family-friendly event celebrating our community! We are excited to share the following fun, festival activities:

- Shopping at 30 artisan and crafter booths (see a complete list of all vendors at monroefestival.org/vendors );

- Consuming good eats at 3 food trucks (Smok'n Gingers BBQ, Uncle Sammy's, and King Whippy) as well as our local Monroe restaurants (Benny's Pizza Joint, Long Timber Brewing Company, and The LongBranch Bar & Grill);

- Drinking responsibly at your choice of 5 craft beer, wine or distilled spirits vendors (Airlie Winery, Calapooia Brewing Company / Vivacity Spirits, Long Timber Brewing Company, SD Spirits, and Tumbleweed Taphouse);

- Listening to music prepared and played by DJ & Podcaster Patrick Stutz (Spent the Rent Podcast);

- Learning about our local timber heritage by exploring vintage log trucks on display;

- Appreciating everything our local first responders (Monroe Rural Fire Protection District and Benton County Sheriff's Office) do to protect our community;

- and we're planning more!
