Heading to the grocery store tomorrow morning? Don't miss the opportunity to support a great cause! MHS Basketball Teams will be at Safeway from 10:00am-2:00pm for their 2nd Annual Battle of the Ball, helping to fight hunger in our community. Your presence can make a real difference in the lives of these young athletes and those they're helping.

It’s only 15 weeks until expected last frost for our zip code!

Our seed committee is meeting next week to share the seeds we’ve ordered so those starting them will have them ready.

If you haven’t volunteered to help during the growing season and would like to join us in the garden this year add your name below.

Everyone over the age of 13 is welcome ( as per City insurance requirements) No gardening experience is required. We’ll probably start prepping as weather permits in March.
We work in groups or “Work Sessions” twice a week Saturday Mornings & a harvest day to coincide with Food Bank distribution day - last year it was Tuesdays.

We work for 2 hours each of those days - it’s amazing how much a good crew of volunteers can accomplish in 2 hours! Some of us are there most sessions, while others come when they are able.

It’s a great place to meet good people, learn new and/ or share your gardening talents.
