Did you know that the Blessing Box that is set up in front of Peddler's Paradise Monroe is for anyone needing a snack? Sometimes the mailman might need a snack or a passerby. Sometimes it's a homeless person needing something to eat or drink. If you would like to donate food, we ask that you bring items such as prepackaged crackers and cookies, Vienna sausages, jerky, water bottles, Granola bars, protein bars, etc. Anything that is individually wrapped and store bought.
Large canned goods are NOT something that can be easily eaten and most can't be opened without a can opener. Also, foods that need to be cooked aren't a good fit.
Please DO NOT put clothes, homemade food or perishable food in the Blessing Box. We appreciate the community for helping others!!

We have some urgent needs for our next shopping event. All sizes of children and youth clothes, new socks, new underwear, new hairbrushes, black hefty garbage bags, white string garbage bags, and diapers size 4-5. If you can help with any of these items, please let us know! We are open Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11-1pm or by appointment. The address is 104 S Hayne St. in Monroe.

Hi everyone!! Thank you to everyone who donated to our Blessing Box located at Peddlers Paradise Monroe 105 W Franklin St Monroe. Just wanted to let you know the type of items that we are taking for it! We aren't accepting canned goods, rice, pasta, muffin mix, things that need to be cooked. I have to take these to the Community Shelter.
We are accepting Vienna sausages, prepackaged crackers, prepackaged cookies, water bottles, juice boxes, tuna packs with crackers, fruit cups, etc. Snacks and items that can be eaten on the go.
We have the homeless who utilize our Blessing Box as well as lawyers, mailman, police officers and others. They are on the go and need a quick snack.
The Community Shelter of Union County located at 160 Meadow St.

The Annual Coat Drive will begin this Monday, November 16th through Saturday, November 21st. Over the years we have collected hundreds of coats and distributed them throughout Union County to individuals and shared these resources with other non-profit and faith-based organizations. This year we are excited to partner with local Downtown Businesses as drop-off points; East Frank Superette & Kitchen, Peddler's Paradise Monroe, Dandelion & Friends Mercantile and Hilton Vineyard Wine Shop. Please gather up your slightly used or new coats and drop off at one of these locations or contact the Center to drop off at our offices. Together we can continue making a difference in the lives of people here in our own neck of the woods. All coats donated this year will be delivered to the Community Shelter of Union County. We are grateful for your support
