Last week, 18 incredible Union County 4-H teens spent the week in Raleigh at NC 4-H Congress, and what an unforgettable experience it was! 💚🍀

From fun workshops to meeting teens from across North Carolina, Congress gave our delegates the chance to grow, challenge themselves, and create memories they'll never forget. They stepped outside their comfort zones, built lifelong friendships, discovered new opportunities, and represented Union County with pride.

4-H Congress is one of the many ways 4-H helps teens prepare for the future by building leadership, communication, teamwork, and confidence, all while having an incredible time.

We're so proud of every one of our delegates for the way they represented Union County and can't wait to see where their 4-H journey takes them next!

A few weeks ago, our Back to Basics Camp gave campers the opportunity to build skills that will serve them far beyond their time in 4-H. 💚🍳🧵

Throughout the week, youth learned practical life skills like sewing, cooking, grilling, and money management through hands-on activities that encouraged independence, problem solving, and confidence.

One of the highlights of the week was a field trip to NC State University, where campers toured the College of Textiles and the Dinah Gore Teaching and Research Kitchen. Experiencing these programs firsthand helped campers connect the skills they are learning today to future educational and career opportunities.

At 4-H, we believe learning happens by doing. Every activity is designed to help youth grow into capable, confident, and caring leaders while giving them real-world experiences they can carry with them for a lifetime.

We are so proud of everything our campers accomplished during this unforgettable week! 💚🍀

Yesterday was another fantastic day at camp! 🏕️☀️

Campers spent the day making memories, trying new activities, and building friendships that will last long after camp ends. Whether they were tackling challenges, cheering on new friends, or simply enjoying time together, there was plenty of fun and laughter to go around.

When a little rain rolled through, campers didn't miss a beat. They turned the unexpected weather into an impromptu dance party before heading back outside to continue their adventures once the skies cleared.

From new experiences and teamwork to lots of camp spirit, yesterday was filled with everything that makes camp so special. We can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

What a great first day of camp! ☀️🏕️

Campers kicked off the day with flag raising, a delicious breakfast, and then jumped right into a full day of fun. Throughout the day, cabin groups rotated through exciting activities like swimming, fishing, low ropes, arts and crafts, the giant swing, field games, and more!

Everyone has been making new friends, trying new things, and having a blast. We still have an exciting evening ahead before campers settle in for the night.

Today was the final day of STEMBytes Camp! We’ve had an amazing week filled with learning, creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on STEM fun. Our campers explored new technology, built their coding skills, and challenged themselves in exciting ways. We are so proud of everything they learned and accomplished this week. Thank you to all of our campers for making STEMBytes such a success!

From coding and robotics to hands-on STEM challenges, our campers have been learning new skills, solving problems, and discovering just how exciting science, technology, engineering, and math can be. We can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

We had so much fun last week at Around the World Cloverbud Camp! 🌎🍀

Our Cloverbuds spent the week learning about the world around them, trying new things, asking great questions, and exploring new ideas through hands-on activities and play. It was wonderful to watch their curiosity grow as they discovered just how big and exciting our world can be.
