Well I had the privilege to cook for the Ritual Team yesterday. I served them up some good old Chill. After cleaning up the kitchen I tried my hand at some pull tabs, and Keno with no luck at all. I was lucky enough to have a conversation with a couple of Veterans. The one vet was a in the Air Force with the secret mission team. His papers say he was in Thailand I want to say Laos, but he said the whole time was in Vietnam. His DD214 has that he was in Thailand. Now he is dealing with so many cancers I could not begin to remember the names of all of them. For the last year and a half he has been fighting our great and wonderful government for his disable of 100%. He seem so down and ready to give up. We have given over 100 Billion Dollars to Ukraine, we are housing, feeding, clothing, the ones that are coming across the boarder, but we can't take care of our veterans that when to fight for all of our freedom. If just brakes my heart to hear this. We give and give but to other county that I'm sure a laughing in our face and we just take it. The man is so tired of fighting for his disability he feels broken. He laugh and said I do get 10% for lose of hearing. Our government beats our troops down until they just give up. I told the man to get a hold of our post commander that works with Vets as will. He said he had a VA in Ohio working on it and he was so worried if he changed he would have to start over. For some 69 years I would not want to think of how many troops have died from this War. One thing he did say that sticks in my heard. I some days wonder why I wear a hat of the branch of service I served in. He said we went over there most drafted, we come home to no jobs, call killers, and some that had no ideal all these years later it would be killing all of us. AGENT ORANGE. I sickens me. This is with all wars our troops have to beg for care of there health.
