When "Justin" was stranded, out of gas, and ready to give up on treatment, he felt like he had hit a dead end. 🛑
Luckily, he came to our Resource Center for help, and was able to connect with Mike. Later that day, during outreach, Mike connected Justin with Jesse— a new Peer Support Specialist at Ideal Option, who was on his first outreach shift with Mike!
Using his own lived experience, Jesse spent just 15 minutes on the phone with Justin. He helped him solve his insurance hurdles, found a local facility for an assessment the next morning, and got him set up to start his IOP program immediately. 🚀
As if that wasn't amazing enough, the team also helped another participant get signed up for care that exact same day.
Proof that sometimes, all someone needs is the right person in their corner. 💙
