🚨 IT'S ONLY A TEST 🚨

Some of us have been staring at the test so long that we've forgotten there's a purpose behind it.

The pressure.
The waiting.
The disappointment.
The wilderness.

What if the thing you've been asking God to remove is actually the very thing He's using to prepare you for your next season?

Before Jesus ever preached a sermon, healed the sick, or changed the world, He had to pass a test in the wilderness. The test wasn't punishment—it was preparation.

🔥 The test is confirmation, not punishment.
🔥 The enemy attacks what God just spoke.
🔥 The test is producing elevation.

The enemy sees what God is about to do before you do. That's why the battle has been so intense. But don't quit in the wilderness. Don't lose heart under the pressure.

God isn't trying to break you.
He's preparing you.

The test is temporary, but the purpose is eternal.

If you're walking through a difficult season right now, remember this:

🙌🏾 It's only a test.
🙌🏾 God is still with you.
🙌🏾 Your next chapter is on the other side.

Last week, Pastor Sellers took a moment to simply listen to our youth. One of the things they shared was that they are looking for community, connection, and a safe place to belong.

This week, we got to see that community in action.

One of our youth,Ja'Naye, invited two of her friends to church, and during youth church Jasmine and Chesney accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!🙌🏾❤️

Y'all, this is what it's all about.

Not just filling seats, but changing lives.
Not just attending church, but bringing others to Jesus.
Not just talking about community, but creating it.

We are so proud of Ja'Naye for sharing her faith and inviting her friends, and we celebrate Jasmine and Chesney for taking this incredible step in their walk with Christ. And we are so proud of Sis. Aamari Na'shay Chambers and the team for their commitment to our youth.

Family, help us welcome and celebrate these two young ladies! Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we! 🎉🙌🏾💜

✨Let the little children come to me..." ✨

💜🌱 CREATE A SAFE SPACE 🌱💜

One of the most powerful insights from our Youth Sunday Panel was this:

Our children need safe spaces.

Not just a place to sit.
Not just a place to attend.

A place where they can talk.
A place where they can ask questions.
A place where they can make mistakes and still be loved.
A place where they know someone is listening.

The truth is, if our kids don't feel safe talking to us, they'll find someone else to talk to.

If they don't feel heard at home, they'll look for other voices.
If they don't feel accepted in church, they'll search for belonging somewhere else.

That's why creating safe spaces matters.

As parents, mentors, grandparents, church leaders, and church family, let's be people who listen before we lecture, understand before we assume, and love before we judge.

At The Springs, we're committed to being more than a church service.

We're striving to be a church family where every child and young person knows:

💜 You are loved.
💜 You are heard.
💜 You belong here.

Because sometimes the greatest gift we can give a young person isn't advice.

It's a safe place to be honest.

💜🌱 YOU ARE EXACTLY WHERE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE 🌱💜

One of the most powerful moments from our Youth Sunday Panel came when one of our young people reminded us of a truth that so many people—young and old—need to hear.

There is a lot of pressure in this world.

Pressure to fit in.
Pressure to be someone you're not.
Pressure to follow the crowd.
Pressure to become who others expect you to be.

But sometimes God is doing His best work right where you are.

Before you rush to be older...
Before you rush to have it all figured out...
Before you compare your journey to someone else's...

Remember this:

✨ You are exactly where you're supposed to be.

Keep learning.
Keep growing.
Keep trusting God.
Keep becoming who He created you to be.

At The Springs, we want our youth to know that their value isn't found in popularity, performance, or fitting in. Their value is found in the God who created them with purpose.

And if you're feeling pressure today, this reminder is for you too:

God hasn't forgotten you.
God isn't behind schedule.
God is still working.

Right where you are.

💜🌱 A WORD FOR THIS GENERATION 🌱💜

One of the most powerful moments from our Youth Sunday Panel wasn't about having all the answers.

It was a simple reminder:

✨ Be yourself.
✨ Stay close to God.
✨ Don't let go of God's hand.

Our young people are growing up in a world full of pressure, opinions, comparisons, and influences that constantly try to tell them who they should be.

But God's voice says something different.

You don't have to become someone else to be valuable.
You don't have to follow the crowd to belong.
You don't have to change who God created you to be.

At The Springs, we want every young person to know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, loved by God, and created with purpose.

As a church family, let's continue to encourage our youth to walk boldly in who God created them to be—not who the world expects them to be.

Because when you know whose you are, the world doesn't get to define who you are.

💜 Stay close to God.
💜 Be unapologetically you.
💜 Keep holding His hand.

💜🌱 WHAT OUR YOUTH TOLD US 🌱💜

As we prepare to step into a new Annual Conference year, we paused this Sunday and did something powerful...

We listened.

Our young people shared what they need from their church, and their answers were both simple and profound:

✨ Community.
✨ Connection.
✨ Adults who will listen.
✨ A place where they belong.
✨ A church that sees them, hears them, and walks beside them.

At Union Springs, we believe the next generation isn't just the future of the church—they are part of the church right now.

Their voices matter.
Their questions matter.
Their dreams matter.

This conversation reminded us that sometimes our youth aren't looking for bigger programs. They're looking for deeper relationships. They want a village. They want mentors. They want a church family that knows their names and cares about their lives.

As we move forward together, may we continue to be a place where every child, teen, and young adult knows they are loved, valued, and never walking alone.

The Springs isn't just a church. We're family. 💜

Some of us are still standing today because a praying mama made it stretch. ❤️

This Mother’s Day at The Springs, we honored the strength, sacrifice, faith, and resilience of mothers who kept showing up even when life was hard. 🙌🏽

✨ Tired but still praying
✨ Stressed but still loving
✨ Running on little… but trusting God for more

“Mama Made It Stretch” reminded us that God knows how to multiply what looks small. What should’ve run out… didn’t. What should’ve broke the family… didn’t. And somehow God kept making a way. 🔥

Because favor was sitting in the house all along.

The atmosphere at The Springs was full of love, tears, healing, laughter, and gratitude for every mother, grandmother, auntie, and woman who helped carry generations through prayer and perseverance. 🌸

And maybe this is your reminder today:
If God did it for the widow… He can still do it for you.

SUNDAY AT THE SPRINGS 🕊️🔥

“When Heaven Interrupts the Room” | Acts 2

This wasn’t just a sermon about Pentecost…
It was a reminder that God still interrupts dry seasons. ❤️‍🔥

✨ POINT 1:
Before there was power… there was presence.
The disciples stayed in the room even when they didn’t know WHEN God would move. Sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply staying in the room.

✨ POINT 2:
Heaven responds to unity.
Not perfection. UNITY.
There’s a difference between being ON one accord and WITH one accord. One is agreement… the other is spiritual alignment. And when hearts become aligned, Heaven responds.

✨ POINT 3:
The Holy Spirit gives boldness to broken people.
Peter failed publicly… but Pentecost proved failure does not disqualify you from being used by God. God still fills imperfect people with fresh fire and purpose.

The atmosphere at The Springs today was filled with worship, family, expectation, and fresh wind. 🌬️🔥

And maybe this is your reminder:
Don’t leave the room too early.
God still interrupts rooms. 🙌🏽
