The Monroe Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, community-focused law enforcement agency.

Police Officer Salary Range: $71,364 – $115,854

Benefits Include:
• 20-Year New York State Retirement

• Holiday Pay
• Shift Differential
• Longevity Pay
• Ongoing Training and Advancement Opportunities

Career Opportunities Include:
Patrol, Detective Bureau, Commercial Vehicle Unit, K-9 Unit, Bicycle Unit, Tactical Response Unit, EMT Training, and School Resource Officer (SRO).

Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community the Monroe PBA was able to assist numerous families with gifts for their children during the holidays. The support was so much that the Monroe PBA still has toys to give out to families who need some assistance during this holiday season. If you know of a family in need please contact Det. Doug Hansen at 845-782-8644 to schedule a time for pick up at the Monroe Police Department.
