Monroe's Police Department and Special Olympics Connecticut were proud to welcome over 80
plungers who dove into the chilly waters of Great Hollow Lake to support Special Olympics athletes at this year's 12th Annual Plunge at the Park. So far, we've raised approximately $45,000 (final count pending)! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported such a special cause and brought their great energy to the Plunge this year. Kudos for making our event the highest raising fundraiser in Monroe and for making the MPD the top Connecticut fundraiser for Special Olympics. We are truly grateful!

What an amazing day! Thanks to everyone who supported the Monroe Police Department’s Plunge at the Park event on April 2nd with an amazing 80+ plungers! This year’s event raised over $45,000 to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut and the special athletes they support. Thanks Ferocious Content for the great video!
